Service Offerings for Audit DB v6.1 Upgrade

Audit DB v6.1 delivers powerful features for automating the audit and compliance process.  It represents a significant shift in the way Audit DB processes audit data and delivers even greater value than previous versions.

New features include in 6.1 and in past versions:

• Statement-level auditing via our new network capture.
• A new policy engine which uses “rules-based” auditing techniques.  This significantly improves the ability to pinpoint security violations and provides the ability to monitor performance against corporate data protection policies.
• A set of standard and customizable policies that reflect industry best practices.
• New alert features which label incidents according to criticality.
• A library of new compliance reports that are driven by a powerful new reporting engine.
• Microsoft SQL Server (including 64 bit and SQL Server 2005 support), Oracle, Sybase, and IBM DB2 data is collected into one repository, so that consolidated reports can be run from a single source.
• Audit Microsoft SQL Server using SQL Trace in place of reading transaction logs.

Because of the significant enhancements in version 6.1, upgrading is more complex than with previous versions.  Upgrade software is included in maintenance contracts, but re-installation of the product along with associated training costs are not.
